Thanks for the new people reading my blog. I welcome you and hope you return yet again...
I am an early riser. A morning person. Most always I get up in a good mood. The rest of my house are all late risers.
In winter and summer, working days and weekends, I easily arise 1-2-3 hours (winter!) before them all. I pad through the house to my lounge, and open one or two windows to let the wind and smells and sounds of the morning in. Then I sit for a while in silence. Just appreciating the morning. On weekdays it will be at 5am, on weekends usually just after 6. Winter might be later by an hour, not much more. I listen to the wind, sometimes the birds' chatter is loud, othertimes not so loud. And I enjoy the silence. It's my 'me time'....
I love the wind. Probably not continuous gale force winds, but I love the wind. The gentle breezes blowing into my house, and sometimes the not so gentle breezes. I love riding bicycle in the wind, I love riding motorbikes with the wind all around me, I love sailing. I don't do many of these anymore, so I let the wind into my house in the mornings.
My family usually come after me and close the windows when they feel the wind is too much for them.
But till then, it's me and my friend....
I hope you all have a great week ahead as we move into the first week of October. MOst of my friends' blogs I read are in Fall, whereas where I am it is lovely Spring. Will be better once we receive our "Spring rains" - we haven't had any rains since around late April...that's apparently what my friend is supposed to be bringing us, but each morning I just see him playing around...maybe we'll get some rains in early October...
Till later, a wonderful week to you all...

You are speaking my language, when I read your posts.;) Not in what you like directly, but the way you *enjoy* and *savor* your passions.;)
I share with you the love for an early morning, before the world comes alive.;)
The wind has never been my friend though, but the way you describe it I might give its allure one more chance, in the coming autumn.
I look forward to greet spring with you, a season that holds so much more of my affection.;)
Have a lovely Sunday evening,
xo
How well you named your blog! My words in the wind......
I love gentle breezes too. Not so much the bitingly cold winds of the winter months round here - they come straight from Siberia or the Arctic.
Have a great week!
Hello LG. Thanks for your comment.
I'm not a great wind person more a warm gentle summer breeze type of gal.
I enjoyed your wonderful post about your friend, the wind. I love the wind, too, and we are enjoying some exhilarating windy days here at the moment. It's always this way during the autumn - when all the leaves come off the trees. Many thanks for visiting my blog.
P.S. We get mostly a dry, cold winter where we are (British Columbia's Central Interior)
