Spring Equinox

Today is 23 September 2010. Yes we know.

Today is Spring Equinox in the Southern Hemisphere. At last. Great news. Let's hope the rains come soon.

Today is The Boss's birthday. Thank goodness for great musicians and their wonderful music. They certainly make my life wonderful.

I lost a day somewhere yesterday. I thought yesterday was today. But I know today is not yet tomorrow. If that confuses you then you must know how I'm feeling. The good news is the girls come home at 10am. School closes for the holidays. Again. Yippee. They deserve a break.

My Internet was off for most of the weekend till Wednesday. The Vodacom 3G signal just went missing. Even the girls were irritated - they couldn't mixit most of the weekend. Bugger is you try assisting with 2 school assignments and no Internet nowadays...it's a B*T. Especially assignments on Somalia's war and Einstein and the Atom bomb...Internet is really amazing stuff. What on earth did we do before it came along???

I'm resting at home from a small operation. Must admit it's a pretty small operation and the rest is more than the pain. Guess I'm a lucky lady. Back to the office Monday though!!!

We have termites in our garden. Terrible. I'm an eco-friendly person. I like eco-friendly solutions. So if anyone knows of a trusted eco recipe that really works, please advise. Urgently.

Have a wonderful rest-of-Spring-day........

LG

What a wonderful post. You express your feelings so gently, yet so freely and it is easy to follow your thoughts.
How extraordinary that in your part of the world, spring is about to break, while here we are nearing winter.
Thank you so much for your very kind words and your visit - I enjoyed my stay here and will for sure be back again.:)
Much love,
Zuzana

Hello LG , thankyou for joining my Blog, I thought I would come and visit you. Like Zuzana says, it feels strange to have autum here and quite chilly, while you have spring. I look forward to reading and getting to know you, best wishes Kath

Hi LG nice to meet you. Keep some confusion in there; because when you wake up tomorrow and you think it's yesterday; hey you can relax an extra day!
And on a serious note, I don't know termites, but i talk to critters big and small, on an equal level, and ask to move to a place where i don't have to bother them. And often they listen!

Thanks for following my blog. I'm always glad to find new online friends.

You make being a morning person sound pretty tempting. I love listening to the sounds of the wind and birds too. Unfortunately, we need our air-conditioners here until it is practically too cold for an open window day but I like to raise my bathroom window in the mornings to see what the day is like outside.
