So one of the 3 essays I have to write by this weekend is somehting to do with the subject matter "What is a Good Life?"
Is Good defined as Christian Good life? What does that Christian Good life entail? Living a clean honest life determined by the Bible? Is there any other kind of good? What does a good life mean to any Moslem, Buddhist or even non-religious person? What is your opinion here? I need some input to think about all this please...
Then, is happiness and goodness connected? Are you happy because you lead a good life? Or do youlead a good life because you're happy? Can you live one without the other? Perhaps - I know some people are 'happy'and they certainly wouldn't qualify in my definition of a good person...
See, I have homework to go do...Help me out with your opinions please...always something to think about

A good life...yummy topic! A good life is going to bed knowing you've lightened someone's burden and made someone feel you've seen and appreciated their BEST self; it's giving praise and gratitude for every bit of kindness or beauty you've appreciated; it's making a child smile and a friend or spouse glad they found you; it's stretching time by being aware and present, living a bird's life or being the wind; it's creating something to share, knowing that it's not you doing the creating - you're simply being breathed. It's sharing your precious, unique gifts with the world and knowing deep in your heart that you're making a difference, by doing what you were brought here to do. A good life is knowing how wonderful it feels to love yourself unconditionally so that you know how to love other people the same way. It's having a safe, warm home, and the conviction to make sure every other human being on the planet does too. It's a life full of music, art and craft, one that's free of hunger, thirst, fear, violence, exploitation and persecution. But it's also having faith in a loving Source, knowing that you can deal with anything awful life throws at you. A good life is having the freedom to make good choices and finding a way to love the things you have to do; A good life is full of simplicity, clarity and details!
Sorry, I got carried away. It's my first comment in a while and the last before I log off for today.
