1. Who was favorite DJ and what radio station did you listen to as a kid?
I would have to say Dave Guselli of Capital 604 - this was what I listened to in my teens (early 1980'2 to around 1987) - they were affiliated with a British radio station and broadcast to our area via Transkei which was then listed as an independent country to South Africa - though no one outside the SA Government recognised them as independent to South Africa. Be as it may, I loved the radio station for their progressive politics, their up to date music and their wonderful DJ's - Dave with the golden voice. Wonder what he's doing nowadays. He was an Italian I think, not much to look at as DJ's go, but wow. What a voice. And they always had the most up to date music from UK and USA - my teens listening to this radio station was unforgettable....
2. What has been the weirdest thing you have worn in public?
I don't do weird in public. Like - never
3. What was the best part of last weekend?
The Formula 1 race - the qualifying on Saturday then the race Sunday - always always makes my weekend, I'm a HUGE F1 fan(atic).......
4. What was the most effective punishment for you as a kid?
Not allowing me to visit my friends?
5. Would you lie to your significant other to not hurt their feelings?
Possibly yes. ON certain matters.
6. We're taking you order for breakfast. What would you like?
Medium boiled egg x2 with white bread toast, lots of pure butter and honey. You can also give me fresh fruit, delish muesli and yoghurt. And on a cold winter's day oatmeal made with milk, honey ,raisins, almonds et al
7. Do you celebrate Halloween? If yes, do tell. If no, why not?
No. Firstly don't like horrors and Halloween is always filled with ghosts and horrosrs. Secondly, don't like the glorified stories that go with Halloween. I am interested in the 'real story' whatever one that might be as in Samhein night of lost souls - from the Celtic tradition, but that's the only part I find interesting. The glamorified Halloween and all that it goes with it evades me. Perhaps the same can be said for Easter and Christmas, although being of Christian faith, I believe the glorified Halloween goes along with Valentine's day - just another day at the cash bar.......
8. Do you hand out candy to the neighborhood kids?
Not celebrated where I live, but the answer would be No
9. What's the favorite age you've been, so far?
23 comes automatically to mind. Perhaps more my lucky number than my favourite age. 19 was probably the best year - I spent it as a Foreign Exchange student for a whole year in New Hampshire USA. It was awesome awesome awesome. Since then though, my life has been good to me
Hope to see you around here more
LG
