5 minutes of concious writings with no corrections...This weekend was spent studying and reading many many 31 days of....found here http://www.thenester.com/2011/09/31-days-participants.html
I'm slow out of the blocks as you can see...there were several entries I truly enjoyed ...this blog being the best and most relevant to me so far.... http://www.ducksanddecisiveengagement.us/ - 31 days/letters to my daughters...I like the concept...since my daughters are in their early/mid teens I think I will start something like that in time for an Xmas gift...I must just make sure it's relevant without being too preachy...mmm...maybe I can make it a family tradition/Xmas gift the next year or three as they prepare to leave home for University in 2-3 years...sigh...yes...time does fly when you have kids....
I don't have the time right now to concentrate on anything beyond my studies..but I am looking at 31 days of various things: 31 days of Letters to my Daughters being first most in my mind; 31 days of Psalms; 31 days of exercise and 31 days of Soul-searching/Reflections. And 31 days of mosaics....If you get to know me you'll realise I don'tlet alittle thing like October get in my way...I have exams till 21 November, a really tough schedule, so I have 31 days of studies first...and thereafter I can se emyself planning a fw months of inspiration ahead....I am excited at the thought. As I said, just 'cos the meme is done in October certainly doesn'tmen I confine myself to such a time....
Today was a beautiful sunny HOT day in South Africa!! Lovely but HOT. We watched the Rugby World Cup final between New Zealand and France this morning - yes, NZ won, and I believe are deserved champions of the World Cup for the next 4 years purely because they are the best rugby team in the world for he last 2-3 years..but it was a tough match against the French, where I thought the NZ would romp home, no no, the French suddenly arrived at the RWC 2011, and gave them a good match, NZ eventually winning 8-7 in the end. So certainly hats off to France for providing an entertaining game where very easily the All Blacks could have run away with the match. And of course congrats to the Kiwis, really well done. Not many SAfricans would feel the way I feel (NZ being our all time arch enemies when it comes to rugby), but I give credit where due.
I'm looking forward to this week - just same old at work, nothing major exciting, but it's a good job and we are grateful. My youngest has a singing concert Tuesday night and beyond all that I have lots and lots of studies to do.
Till next time, thanks for the visit and keep well
LG

You had me until you started talking sports. Especially a sport like rugby that has almost absolutely no meaning here in the U.S.!
I'm very goal-oriented and I like assignments. I might have to check out this 31 day idea. Glad you linked up!
